BlueTooth cant be activated with Fn + F3, and the driver listed on this page wont install.
I obviously cant, so the only available option is to abort installation.

I am more familiar with the Dell non-Alienware range so the Fn buttons layout may be different.

According to Dell Windows 10 is not supported on the Inspiron N7010 laptop.

I just completed a mostly successful upgrade of my Dell Vostro 3550 to Windows 10 64-bit Pro, from Windows 7 64-bit Pro.
I thought it occurred without a hitch, until I realized that some of my Bluetooth functions were disabled.
Oddly enough, Device Manager indicates no issues with Bluetooth, and I can pair and use a Bluetooth speaker.
However, there are three Bluetooth-related Services that will not Start, and I think it is because the executables all date back to 2011.
Do you think that I may have better luck if I can install the Dell or Intel drivers for Centrino Wireless-N 1030 intended for Windows 8.

Now that your system is a Windows 10 Device, I advise Clean Reinstallation of Windows 10.
See here step 4 onwards: The Clean Reinstall will remove the conflicts between old system drivers and drivers inbuilt to Windows 10 and hence should remove your performance losses.

I am having the following problem with a Dell Latitude D830 and Windows 10.
All is working fine except for Bluetooth.
Windows 10 also detects and installs ageneric driver as reported by Device Manager.
The Bluetooth icon appears in the hidden icons on the task bar.
But the Bluetooth blue light is not on and therefore Bluetooth is not working.
Not sure about the Bluetooth issue, if its in the device manager and enabled, the blue light should be on.
Do you have Dell Quickset installed?
The other problem is I have device with the name of Unknown device in other device category.

If you had Bluetooth you would have both a Dell Wireless 365 card and a Dell Wireless 1520 card.
Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Bluetooth is now completely missing from Device Manager.
The Broadcom Universal Bluetooth updater tool you linked to seems to just hang on trying to find Bluetooth devices, so no luck with that.
Other models may be different!!!
Device Manager will then detect and load the drivers for the network stack.

Then one day the scroll and tap corners quit working.
So I had to go into mouse settings and reset the scroll and tap functions.
I had to do this every time I rebooted.
